Paris is celebrating a new edition of Maison & Objet, one of the most important design fairs worldwide. As we told you in the post we wrote about M&O last January, the Designer of the Year is the well-known Tom Dixon who keeps being the design star this September. Dimore Studio by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran – named scenes d’intérieur 2014 designer of the year – creates the scenography of ELLE Decoration Café located at the fair’s hall 7. Inspired in the Berlin scenario in the 60’s, their creation is inspired by Café Müller by Pina Bausch.

At the time as M&O, Paris Design Week is of course taking place from September 6th to 13th, a great explosion of design and creativity! This year’s main theme for both events focuses on the concept of ‘Sharing’, an authentic declaration of intent. Unlike what most of people usually think, design will become more accessible, and the relationship between high design and the general public will be more fluent.

In this exciting planning, a selection of must-visit concept stores is a must, so don’t miss the following shopping route!

Fleux is probably the most famous one in France! Indeed, they have four spaces! Two of them are located at 39 Rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie and the other two at number 52 in the same Street. Actually, this quarter is well-known by its deco and design shops (1st and 2nd arrondissement). Believe us, top-design is here!

Merci should be your second stop! You’ll find two floors where stylish clothes are mingling with deco items in such a perfect way.

Colette is our final destination! In this one, there is a bigger presence of feminine products like textiles, beauty and jewellery. Next to this, a wide selection of stationery, books and gadgets is also available here. A huge universe that offers everything you need to decorate your place or buy a cute present for somebody!
